Spavia SouthPark is seeking a Spa Attendant (part-time) to join our team! We are an independently owned and operated affordable, luxury day spa located in Charlotte, NC.

Spavia guests enjoy luxurious spa amenities along with a full variety of award-winning treatments. We provide a full variety of massage, skin care, spray tanning, full body waxing, mineral makeup, body wraps/scrubs and now offering eyelash extensions! We strive to provide an exceptional experience for every guest, every visit. We couldn’t complete any of this without spa attendants who are passionate about assisting our specialists with back of the house responsibilities and general upkeep of the spa.

The Spa Attendant is responsible for ensuring a clean, safe, and relaxing environment for guests and team.  Spa Attendants add to the guest experience by hosting and fostering an atmosphere of organization, calm, preparedness and relaxation.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest service for all guest areas including changing areas
• Laundry; lots of laundry 🙂
• Stock changing rooms with towels and amenities
• Restock and sanitize guest lockers
• Assist therapists with linens, towels, and supplies
• Support Guest Advisors

Requirements:

• Minimum high school diploma
• Must be flexible and available all weekends
• Self-motivated and high attention to detail
• Reliable, punctual, passionate and goal-driven
• Professional and positive team player

Earnings for Massage Therapists
Massage Therapist’s earnings per treatment can start from $50 to $69 per 1 hour massage, including gratuity, or equivalent to $65,000-$89,700/ year   (based on a 30-massage work week). The highest payout is for advanced services.  Payouts for the experienced Therapist can exceed $75 when adding Boosts! Compensation based on experience.

• Providing a variety of massage modality treatments to guests   including but not limited to: Signature Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue   Massage, Salt Stone Massage, Sports Massage, Maternity Massage, and more.
• Set up and closing of the treatment room in preparation for all guest treatments.
• Cleanliness: Responsible for ensuring the treatment room is clean, tidy, and   stocked. Supplies and equipment are clean, stocked, and tidy. Laundry  is  washed, folded, and stocked.
• Provide education and sales recommendations to guests as it relates to treatments, membership, and retail products.
• Document guest profile with treatment notes.
• Adhere to handbook policies and standards.
• Participate in reoccurring team meetings and training.

Massage Therapist Requirements:

• Actively State Licensed Massage Therapists
• Reliable, punctual, passionate and goal-driven
