Compensation
Massage Therapist earnings start at $34–$48 per massage, including gratuity, with additional income opportunities through commissions and performance bonuses. Equivalent annual earnings are approximately $38,000–$70,000 per year based on a 30-hour workweek, depending on experience, services performed, schedule, and guest demand.

What You’ll Do
- Provide customized therapeutic and relaxation massages tailored to each guest’s needs
- Deliver an exceptional guest experience with professionalism and attention to detail
- Conduct thorough consultations and recommend enhancements, home care, and future treatments
- Maintain treatment room cleanliness, sanitation, and reset standards
- Complete accurate SOAP notes after each treatment
- Support retail and membership goals through guest education and service excellence
Services You’ll Provide
Spavia offers a wide variety of massage treatments, including signature, deep tissue, salt stone, sports, and maternity massage. We also offer enhancements such as CBD, cupping, and Hypervolt percussion therapy. Paid in-house training is provided.
Qualifications
- Active Minnesota Massage Therapist license
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Strong communication skills and a guest-first mindset
- Weekend and evening availability preferred
- Passion for wellness, spa services, and guest care

Paid Time Off & Minnesota ESST
Minnesota ESST
Employees working at least 80 hours annually in Minnesota are automatically enrolled in Minnesota’s Earned Sick and Safe Time program. Accrual begins upon hire at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked, up to 48 hours per year. ESST may be used for illness, family care, domestic abuse, or emergency closure. Unused ESST is not paid out at termination but may be reinstated if rehired within 180 days.
Spavia Enhanced PTO Plan
Full-time employees may be eligible for Spavia’s Enhanced PTO Plan, effective May 2025. Eligible team members accrue 1.5 hours of PTO for every 30 hours worked. PTO may be used for vacation, personal time, mental health, or unscheduled absences.
